Founded in 1979 as a photovoltaic reasearch facility, Photowatt is now located close the semi-conductor industries of Lyon and Grenoble. The company has expanded rapidly since it's aquisition by ATS, increasing it's production of silicon wafers and cells, adding a photovoltaic module assembly facility.
