Global Solar Energy - based in USA

Founded in 1996, Global Solar Energy Inc are based in Arizona, USA and produce light weight, flexible thin film solar cells and modules using high efficiency Copper Indium Gallium DiSelenide (CIGS) solar material on a flexible substrate. In late 2008, the company opened a second production facility in Berlin, Germany.

Product Details

Photovoltaicd Modules - A range of mobile flexible thin film panels for the outdoor enthusiast, mobile professional, and for expeditions. The panels, which can be rolled up, have outputs from 6.5 to 62 watts, and weights of 0.2 to 1.4 Kg.

The company also produce thin film flexible solar cells having an average efficiency of over 11%, which can be used in Building Integrated Photovoltaics.
